1. Ears - Cropped or uncropped, the latter preferred.

2. Ears - Uncropped large and erect, placed so that the base of the ear is level with the outside corner of the eye.

3. Uncropped ears should be short and held rose or half prick.

4. When uncropped , the ears are V-shaped button ears of medium length and thickness, set high and carried rather high and close to the head.
