Carville, James James CarvilleCar·ville, James /ˈkɑːvɪl $ ˈkɑːr-/ (1944–) a US political advisor who helped organize Bill Clinton’s campaign for president in 1992 and also worked for him while Clinton was president. He is married to Mary Matalin, who has done similar jobs for Republican politicians. He was the host of Crossfire, a TV programme on which people discussed politics.
