Soham Murders, the the Soham MurdersSoh·am Mur·ders, the /ˌsəʊəm ˈmɜːdəz $ -ˈmɜːrdərz/ the murder in 2002 of two 10-year old girls in Soham, Cambridgeshire, by Ian Huntley, who was the caretaker (=person who looks after the buildings) in the school that they went to. Huntley had been accused of sex crimes in a different part of the UK before he became caretaker at the school, and he should not have been given the job.
