Rossini, Gioacchino Gioacchino RossiniRos·si·ni, Gio·ac·chi·no /rɒˈsiːni $ rəʊ-, ˌdʒəʊəˈkiːnəʊ/ (1792–1868) an Italian composer most famous for writing many operas, especially The Barber of Seville (1816).
