Michelangelo Mi·chel·an·ge·lo /ˌmaɪkəlˈændʒələʊ/ (1475–1564) an Italian painter, sculptor, and architect (=someone who designs buildings) of the Renaissance period, considered to be one of the greatest artists who ever lived.
